Heart Hug

I have a vision for you.

Imagine you’re sitting with your future self in a cozy bookshop. She’s only a few years ahead of you. The smell of books, generously overstuffed leather chairs, and sweet warm lattes swirl in your nostrils as you take in how beautiful, put together and confidently she holds herself.

You’ve just finished pouring your heart out about how hard this shit is. You feel like no one understands you, you haven’t had any encouragement and you’re having a hard time believing in yourself. You’ve been looking for other part time jobs to supplement your income because every month it’s getting more expensive to live and you’re getting waaaay to close to a number in your checking account that makes you want to throw up. It doesn’t feel like enough. YOU don’t feel like enough.

Tears fill your eyes as she squeezes your hand.

“I understand you. I hear you. And I love you so much. It’s ok not to have it all together.”

You wipe your tears and she continues.

“What you want is truly within reach. You might not hear it from the people you love most in your life. It’s not their fault that they can’t see the vision you have. You might have to hold that faith all by yourself for right now.

But I’m always here.

I will always listen.

I will always encourage you because what is coming to you is something so special. It’s not for the faint of heart.

It’s hard to create without knowing what it’s truly going to be.

You’re going to doubt yourself.

You’re going to feel tired, sad and like you’re not doing it right.

But if what you do touches one person…

If what you do touches one heart and makes this world a better place…

Or shows your children what’s possible, then you’ve done your job.

And I want to let you know – she squeezes your hand again – you’ve done your job.

I’m living proof.”

You ARE living proof.

You have proof right now.

And even if you can’t find that proof or meet your future self right now because she seems so far away, I want to let you know that I believe in you too.

What you’re doing matters.

I’m giving you the warmest heart hug.

And I know you can do it.

If you need the encouragement and clarity to finish what you’re working on right now, I can help you see what you’re capable of in 90 days.

And I’m going to tell you right now, it will blow your damn mind.

Let’s talk.
